Asheville has it all. Asheville has The Biltmore Estate.
The saying ‘you get what you pay for’ holds very true at Asheville’s Biltmore Estate. Picture this – driving up a three mile-long driveway and arriving at a 175,000 square foot mansion with 251 rooms. It truly is a site to behold. The Asheville mansion is absolutely stunning and worth the admission price – every time you visit Asheville.

The winery is not to be missed – the tour is interesting and the wine is amazing! And if drinking isn’t your choice, head to the gardens or equestrian center to become one with nature.

Whether you’re visiting Asheville on a romantic getaway or going for a family trip, you won’t be disappointed. The Biltmore’s employees are extremely warm and even provided our son his own audio set to use on the tour. If you have the time (and you should make the time) go on the “Behind the Scenes” tour. It takes you to the areas that other tourists aren’t privy to see – such as the electrical areas and servant quarters.

The Biltmore Estate is a place you can visit over and over again in Asheville – and even though the building is full of history, touring it never gets old.
